SAMBHAR MASALA

Ingredients:

Red Chili, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Black Pepper, Curry Leaves, Chana Dal, Urad Dal, Moong dal, Green Chili, Rock Salt, Tomato Powder, Turmeric.

Usage:

Soak Tuar dal for 30 minutes. Cook Dal and keep aside. Heat 2 Tbsp. oil and add vegetables like Lady’s Finger, Pumpkin, Bottle Gourd, Tomatoes and Onions. Cook till it becomes soft. Add salt and PRAKASH SAMBHAR MASALA to your taste. Add thick tamarind juice and prepared dal. Cook for 5 minutes. Note: For improving taste add some gur (Jaggery). Baghar: Heat 2 Tbsp. oil, add 2-3 pieces whole red Chili, ¼ tbsp. fenugreek (methi), ½ tbsp. mustard, curry leaves and baghar to prepared dal, cook for 5 minutes.
