Dal Makhani

Soak black lentils (black urad whole) and red kidney beans overnight. Add salt and water in a deep pan and boil the soaked beans and lentils till they are soft, add more water if required and keep aside. Take some ghee and heat on low flame, add PRAKASH DAL MAKHANI MASALA to taste, tomato puree, paste of onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli, salt to taste and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer this preparation to the boiled beans and lentils. Mix and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Add cream and butter, serve with nan, tandoori paratha or fried rice.
